The correlation of AFP levels and Downs isn't all that reliable, from what I
understand. I too had a low AFP with one of my children-turned out my dates
were off and I wasn't as far along as the doc thought. I was concerned, and
he told me he wished they didn't even put that info about Downs on the
report.
