Not immediately. Bacteria counts in *fresh EBM* will actually decrease
for about 12 hours before rising due to the living cells (WBCs,
macrophages & lysozymes, etc). Pretty neat. I don't know about
frozen/thawed or refrigerated/thawed at room temperature, but I assume
it will be close to regular dairy products (use within 4 hours, then
toss).
