Last week I posted a note re: ped. dentist told mom to immed. stop Bfing her
13 month old toddler due to one poss. dential cavity. "Its a habit and night
nursing and Bfing have no advantages at this point."
I approached the office staff of this dentist (to get an appointment with
Dr). The bottom line was the manager said, "the problem is night nursing. A
13 month old has no business sleeping with the parents!!!"
So, I will not only approach this office with info. on dential caries, but
on the advantages of co-sleeping and Bfing the toddler. (I have printed out
K. Dettwyler"s 'Benefits of Breastfeeding beyond six months'.
Frustrating isn't it?
