Recently I posted about a phone contact I had with a male to female
transsexual who was in process of attempting to induce lactation.
This is a follow up about her.
If you remember she was pumping too long and too hard and seemed to have
some injuries at the time of our initial conversation. She then switched
pumps on my advice. After this she decreased the volume of fluid produced
followed by full cessation of producing "yellow fluid" a few days after
switching to the small self cycling pump and subsequently stopped pumping
altogether. She lost a layer of skin on the nipples which have now healed.
She has had no signs of mastitis, I'm thankful for that.
She appreciated all the suggestions I passed on from lactnet and was
surprised at the overwhelming positive nature of the feedback. I told her
we as a group recognized that she values lactation and we have that in
common.
I passed on the information about the nipplett, I'm not sure whether she
plans to pursue that avenue.
Thanks to all who gave suggestions. I also enjoyed the male lactation
thread this topic spawned.
