Child-led weaning--that is the term LLLI uses and so does Baumgartner in
her book MOTHERING YOUR NURSING TODDLER.  Now, just the idea that it says
"child" and not "baby" means something.  However, I can also imagine all
the Ezzos and followers of P. Love's book rolling their eyes and saying
"See your child is running your house/life."  In fact, my mother once
commented that "we" (implying LLLLs) were raising "tyrants" who thought
they controlled the world.  Yet, all I can see is that our loving guidance
has cultivated these beautifully independent, self-assured, creative
beings, who know a good thing when they see (or taste/feel) it.
It's SUNNY (as in not raining a drop) in Oregon!
