My experience with JDF is that it exists with pretty much the sole
purpose of raising $ for research for Juvenile Diabetes.  They do an
amazing job and diabetes research is some of the best funded around.  I
haven't seen the film and, as the mother of an 8 year old with Juv.
diab. and an L.C., am horrified.  I have to wonder, though, if the
people who made the film or many of the people who watch it are as aware
as we are of the nestle connection.  I think a letter is a great idea
and, if you tell me the name of the film, I will write one myself.
Perhaps we can remind them of what the research says and raise
consciousness about the n. connection!
