<<< A pair of my favorite longterm nursing/pumping moms, anchors for our local
TV news often have occaision to pump together when they are on the same
schedule. They reported after some time that they each got MORE milk when
they pumped together than when they pumped alone!! Liz Flight, RN, IBCLC

I thougth the same, that pumping together migth lead to increased outcome. I
wonder, should this happen with nursing itself too? That nursing mothers who
live together have less problems with milk supply? And how would the hormones
be involved? The same as with periods? I've often heard that woman who live
together tend to ovulate and menstruate on the same moment, that their period
are infuence by eachothers periods (probably by the smell of the bodies). If
this is true, maybe a similar thing happens with women who frequently nurse or
pump together?
just a thougth,
