At least for free pumps, this is covered under the Lactation Consultant's
Declaration, article 15 of which is:
Under all ordinary circumstances I shall not accept, display or distribute
any promotional or educational material or free gifts from any company
which manufactures or distributes any foods targeted for children up to two
years of age.
("The Lactation Consultant's Declaration - A Personal Commitment" is a
voluntary statement that LCs can choose to sign. It was published in an
early JHL. Many of us, I'm sure, have it hanging on our wall.)
