Perhaps that is your opinion. But both are done against the child's will,
both remove healthy tissue from the genitals, neither have any health
benefit, and both are simply strongly held traditions.

And I am horrifically offended by this. As a child who was raised by a
Jewish step-father, I absolutely resent this comment. Being
anti-circumcision has nothing at all to do with being anti-semitic. It has
everything to do with being pro-child, pro-shild's rights, and allowing the
child the choice of what parts of his or her body s/he would like to alter-
including things as silly as earrings.
I do apologize for sending this to the list, but everytime this comes up
someone has to believe it is because we are anti-semitic. Nothing could be
further from the truth.
