Maureen MInchin asked the following question in reacting to my letter,
which represented my opinion and concerns as an ILCA member. At no time
did I infer that I was speaking for anyone other than myself.:

Kathy, can you please reassure me and all Lactnetters that
you and your friends and associates have absolutely no interest in the
formation of any new organisation now that you are no longer JHL Editor? I
hope I am being needlessly anxious here, after all you did to help build up
ILCA in its early years..

Of course I can. The only new organization I am interested in forming is a
new affiliate near my new home so that the LCs in this region will not have
to travel more than 1 hour each way to affiliate meetings.

My resignation from the JHL editorship occurred long before any
correspondence was received or discussions engaged in about the bylaws
problem. THey are totally unrelated.

Maureen contends I have wide influence. I doubt that. Furthermore, any
ILCA member has just as much right as any other one to express an opinion.
Maureen has. I have. Jane Bradshaw has. Others have as well.

disguised as impossible situations."
