Sorry again, but a rubber nipple is not physiologic, human milk diluters
(also called, wrongly, fortifiers) have never been demonstrated to be
safe in the long term or provide advantages over straight breastmilk.
These things are interventions and interventions have to be proved to be
safe *and* better. Sorry, the residents and other staff, if they
consider themselves as being scientific, had better prove the
interventions are a better way. And, formula company info is not good
enough.
In fact, you should push them to think where they get their notions
from. There we are with anecdotes and formula companies again.
