There is a mother in my church with an eight month old who was born premature
at 32 weeks. Mother started using this supplement shortly after baby's birth
and has never had a supply problem. Baby was hospitalized for 2 weeks at
birth and mother pumped with Classic. By the time baby came home, she had an
oversupply.

My daughter, also, takes this supplement. She took it for about a month and
thought it wasn't doing much. When she stopped taking it, her energy level
went way down. She takes it all the time now. I tried it and it interferes
with my sleep, I stopped taking it and sleep fine. It could possibly affect
a mom's supply if it interfered with her rest. It probably affect different
mom's differently.

Reading the marketing materials and listening to the marketing tapes for this
product bothers me as they say this product is most like mother's milk. It
maybe a good supplemental product, but I get concerned when it's said to be
like mother's milk. Will some health conscious mother who fails at
breastfeeding try this supplement as part of a newborns diet? We had an
adopting mother come to us about breastfeeding her adoptive baby. She wanted
a SNS and told us that she planned to feed the baby a home made formula of
goat's milk and some supplements from the health food store. We suggested to
her that this might not be a good idea and strongly suggest she discuss this
with her pediatrician.

Warm regards,
