Cylcobenzaprine is difficult because little information available in
my available information. Long half life. However, I have gone ahead
and said to mothers asking that it was okay. No apparent problems on
followup.
Nabumetone, a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory, >99% protein bound, which
is good. It may have active metabolites however. It is approved for
use in children. If in doubt, why not use known safe medications,
e.g. ibuprofen?
If the child is nursing only 2 times a day, this is really not a big
problem.
