   this baby has a deficiency... i donot see why bf is not being allowed...
the b-12 must be added so no matter what the base is that you work with this
must be  added... why not have bm as the base>?

    suggest showing md a listing of the components of bm so that he/she can
understand that all of the appropriate is there and the additional will be
additional either way but the base of bm is better.

  - predominant form in bovine milk is hydroxycobalamin . for absorbtion of
the vitamin to occur in the small intestine oancreatic digestion is required.
vitamin is heat stable with less than 10% loss with pasteurization.

    cobalamin is found in human milk... i will keep checking but the reane i
see is 10 - 16 ng/dl.

     another souces indicates: .97ug cobalamin per liter of milk ( rangeL
.33-3.2 ug/L)
