There is nothing recent on Medline by Peter Fleming about any study looking
at SIDS and breast vs. bottle. Maybe he has not published his results yet?
The research done by Doren Fredrickson and colleagues, showing a 50%
decrease in risk of SIDS for each month of exclusive breastfeeding remains
the only good study of this variable that I am aware of. I have forwarded
Ruthy's message on to Doren and asked him to respond......
