A mother asked me at a party today if taking the antibiotic Openen (she
thought that was the name) could have caused irritability in her 4 month
old.  She was also taking Stopayne for pain relief - both because of a tooth
abscess. We may not have the same trade names here in Africa as in America;
has anyone heard of these, and do they cause irritability?  (Personally, I
always found that if I was in pain, my children seemed more fussy than
usual...ie my perception was skewed).
