Have you seen the Brian Palmer video from the ILCA conference/96? It's
excellent. He discusses how frenotomies are easily done with no problems in
the office with only one drop of blood, but he also includes discussion of
frenectomies and Z-plasties which are surgical procedures on older
individuals and adults. They are considerably more involved. I think some
physicians may be thinking more of the latter two procedures when we mention
frenotomy.

I would suggest you obtain a copy of Brian Palmer's tape for future
reference, and see the JHL for an issue a few years ago which featured case
studies and articles on frenotomy. PS contact me by e-mail if you want info
