An easy way I was taught to test the "dissolvability" of a calcium supplement
is to drop a tablet in a cup of vinegar (roughly similar to stomach acid),
and see what happens.  If it dissolves in 30 minutes or so, it will be
digested.  If not, it will pass into the intestines (& then out of the body)
unused.  Dr. Tom, is this accurate?
