It is my understanding that the current opinion of gastroenterologists
is that stomach ulcers are a bacterial infection and should be treated
with antibiotics. She should consult with a GI specialist and clear them
up once and for all. Several years ago, the Japanese did tight, tight
research with virtually indisputable findings that caused a massive
paradigm shift in the treatment approach to ulcers.
Perhaps Dr. Peter Salomon, MD, gastroenterologist in our LactNet midst
could elaborate...
