Kathy brings up some good organizational points.
To copy and paste info from one place on the computer to another....
highlight the text with your mouse,
hold down the control key and the "c" key
let up on the mouse
let up control and "c"
then go where you want to paste it , and hold down the control key and the "v" key and
you have copied and pasted the info. This also workes in Netscape.
I find it much easier to get LactNet in the single post form rather than the digest,
because its easier to go through and keep only what you want. I have a whole file
drawer dedicated to bf info. If there is a post I like or is rather informative, Ill
print it and put it in the paper file under its proper topic, I find this helpful when I
need to look up something quick rather than search the archives. If its a long post and
I only want to keep part of it, I forward it me myself and delete the parts I dont need
before I print it. It is a challange to organize this wealth of information.
As far as writing down the e mail addresses, I find it much easier to put them in my
computer e mail address book that is in my software program. Just be sure to make a back
up disk every month or so.
Hope this is helpful :)
