One of our moms has been bf well and avoiding medications (she's the one they
recommeded a tricyclic anti-depressant even though she never said she was
depressed - as a "treatment" for ulcers).
However, she is probably having to use the new antibiotic therapy that is
recommended for ulcers.
Now, her MD recommeded LIBRAX which includes librium (chlordiazepoxide
hydrochloride) and Quarzan (clidinium bromide) an anticholinergic antispasmodic,
I understand. She'd like to know if there is an anticholinergic antispasmodic
(can she take Quarzan alone) she can take (and skip the librium- she's still not
feeling emotionally volatile except when she has stomach pain!). Quarzan is not
in Dr. Hale's book...
