I'm wondering if someone is referring to the passage "Train up a child in the
way he should go". The Hebrew for "train" involved a concept which referred
to the time (unspecified as far as I know), when solids were introduced. The
midwife would show the mother how to put some cereal (doubtless Gerber's
<g>) on her finger and gently move the finger back on the palate. That was
how they "trained" the infant to move from milk to solid food. But there are
Scriptures that talk about how babies only drink milk, and then with maturity
they begin to eat food.
