Judy et al:
I am extremely embarrassed/sorry about the post and snide remark I made
last week, it was entirely unacceptable. I didn't mean to make the comment
I did the way it sounded, so here I will write what I should have:
There are many of us who want to be IBCLC here in Israel, it will take all
of us a long time and hard work and even political maneuvering of one kind
or another. It is each person's responsiblity to help one another, and
yes, while it is hard, it's hard for all of us, which is why we are trying
to put together a political action group. "United we stand, divided we
fall" and all that jazz. There are IBCLC's here in Israel, which just goes
to prove that it is not an impossible feat.
I am going no-mail for two reasons:
I am becoming a nervous wreck at the end of my pregnancy, as usual, and
this exacerbates my tendency to say nasty things to people (ask my husband
I've been snapping at him all week long).
I need to do a lot of course work that I just don't get done when I'm
reading Lactnet 3 hours everyday.
I wish everyone a happy new year, and to Jay Simpson, I hope you have/had
an easy birth and lots of joy from the newborn!
Nofia
