Okay, how many of you have seen the picture in Milk, Money and Madness on
page 30 where the African woman is breastfeeding her baby on her back by
tying a rock to the breast to weight it over her shoulder? It's true...a
friend of mine in the Peace Corp can attest to this practice of
"self-service" for backpacked babies. So, that may explain all those
National Geographic pictures with very pendulous breasts. And to think we
were all led to believe that bf did that!
