Responding to the tantrum issue--a little late.  Of my three
children, two had many loud, violent temper tantrums for years, starting
at about 15 months.  They nursed for three years and three-and-a-half
years.  All my children are spaced three-and-a-half years apart.  The
ones with tantrums were the first and third.
