I am really behind with my lactnet reading but had to respond to the names
issue. I have one each for the positive and negative list.

Once while driving around town delivering and picking up pumps, etc., I came
upon two nursing moms whom I'd become acquainted with through their early
breastfeeding experiences and pump purchases. They are good friends (of
each other) and were out enjoying the day with their babies in strollers. I
honked and rolled down my window to say hello. When I told them I was
tooling around town with pumps, etc., they said, "We'll just call you ' The
Breast Pump Fairy'." I kind of like it.

The former administrator of the medical clinic in my town used to see me in
the halls of the hospital or other health services agency and - knowing what
I was probably doing there - would say, "So - how are the cone feeders
today?" I always considered this a negative term and probably reflective of
his belief in the sexual purpose of breasts or association with Madonna.
Sad, since his wife was a new mother and a family practice physician.

Looking forward to a long weekend in Colorado - hopefully enjoying the Fall
Aspen leaves.
