Evi -- afraid I can't take credit for flashsessions -- it's AOL's. But I do
think we ought to be able to teach our moms discretesessions, or
just-a-quickiesession (oops -- that conjured up more than I meant it to....)
and to those that are appalled at public nursing, just tell 'em that the most
they'll observe is a flashsession....
Delayed milk production -- had a mom once that was very frustrated with her
bf; milk wasn't in & wasn't in & wasn't in despite good nursing sessions,
frequent, good sucking, no history of problems, etc. We couldn't figure out
what the problem was...got her on the SNS to give baby some nutrition and
waited. And waited. Then she called me in elation! "Jan! The milk came
in! This morning, at 2:05!" It was day 12. So, some take longer than
others....
