Fiona Coombes said sage tea to reduce supply a little, but would like to
know how to make the sage tea. Do you use fresh or dried herb, how 'strong'
to make it etc.
I have always suggested using the dry herb. I find that if tea bags are
available it makes the process easier but I myself prefer tea bags to bulk
tea. If bulk tea is used, about a heaping tablespoon in a strainer will do.
Just make it as you would any other tea really. I suggest to the mother 2
cups per 24 hours to see how this affects her supply, then add or substract.
The most I have suggested is 4 cups per 24 hours. Some mothers with over
supply have found that a cup a day keeps the plugged ducts away!!!!
