Liz,
Welcome to lactnet. I have been trying to find someone in New Mexico who
might be interested in starting an ILCA affiliate. I am the regional rep for
ILCA for region 6 which includes NM, Ok, Tex, La, and Ark. There are 8
affiliates in our region, basically one in each state, but several in Tex.
None in NM. I looked in the ILCA directory and Albuquerque seems to have
the highest concentration of members. I have info on starting an affiliate,
if you and some others have an interest. What do you think? Any thoughts
toward starting an affiliate now or in the future?
By the way, the majority of my nursing career has been spent in NICU as well,
altho I am out of that field now.
