Hello all,
I've posted a few times, but don't remember whether I've properly introduced
myself. I am a La Leche League Leader in Georgia, mother of Emily, age
three, and Daniel age four and a half.
I'm working to establish a Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program in my area,
just at the fundraising stage, and I'm also developing a relationship with
the WIC nutritionist in my county. I've offered to help with breastfeeding
classes. Now I need suggestions from all of you who have taught classes to
WIC mothers. In particular, how do you impress upon them the importance of
the decision to breastfeed. I realize that many will remain unconvinced,
but what have you all found to be helpful? What methods are most successful?
Thanks in advance.
