Dear Cohorts,

Thanks for the replies regarding my mom with bilateral breast
augmentation. She has decided to continue breastfeeding and I've had a
chance to see her in our outpatient clinic. The asymmetrical engorgement
and tender large lumps were very concerning to me and I must admit, up
here in the "boonies", we see very few augmented breasts.
According to the recent literature, this particular incision is rarely
compatible with breastfeeding. But, she is gradually doing much better,
the engorged and tender areas are much improved - and baby is gaining
and happy.
We'll be keeping an eye on things, still we are quite encouraged and I
keep learning more and more each day....
Thank you.

Katherine
