Urine crystals are a good sign of concentrated urine, dehydration and/or
inadequate intake. This is a red flag that signals a baby must be seen soon
by his/her physician and should have hydration and intake assessed! If it is
dismissed as normal, perhaps scant gold colored urine, and constipation in a
breastfed newborn should be considered normal also, oh and don't forget
continued weight loss at 2,3 or 4 weeks.....Cathy
