Re the now 38 wk twins and the other baby in VA who won't latch:
I would suggest a try with cup or spoon fdg so that the babies don't get
their sucking needs met (i.e. no sucking on fingers, pacifier, or bottle
nipples) for maybe 24-48 and then try back to breast. In the meantime do
lots of Kangaroo care (skin to skin) and do Co bathing and co sleeping and
babies may latch on their own.
And I must say that it is asking alot of moms to go back to work in 4 wks! I
often talk with parents about possibility of "lowering their standard of
living" a bit and prolonging maternity leave or going part time only if at
all possible.
