Fentanyl is currently the "drug of choice" as IV pain med at our
hospital.  Prior to Fentanyl we used Nubain.  Fentanly has a
shorter half life and I personally have seen much *less* problems
with suck then when we were using Nubain.  I would be interested
to read any studies about this. :)
