Sorry I can't answer your question about detecting twins. But I can steer
you to some articles that might help this mother. The LLLI Web site has six
articles by women who breastfed twins (and triplets). Go to

Also, the May-June 1996 issue of LLL's NEW BEGINNINGS has a story called
"Life in the Twin Zone" (lots of good information and references).
