Whenever I suggest sleeping with a baby someone ALWAYS has a horror story,
my response has been to say, "How sad, it is always a tragedy when a baby
dies, but unfortunately some babies do die, some babies die in their
parent's beds and some die in their own cribs, but the evidence is clear
that babies are more likely to die when sleeping alone than next to mom."
This usually quiets the comments.  CAthy
