I would like to propose a solution for the airport laptop scam- carry
your laptop in your ILCA conference canvas bag.  As a New Yorker, I feel
that computer cases are an invitation to theft.  I use a non-descript
canvas bag with shoulder straps instead.  The one from the '94 ILCA
conference is the perfect size for my notebook computer and appointment
book.
