Re: Avent nipples. During a local meeting of lactation
consultants Avent nipples were discussed as "the cure" for
breastfeeding infants who refuse bottles; conversely, babies
who are fed with Avent nipples in the early days were noted
to have difficulty transitioning to breastfeeding.

I report only what was discussed. I have never used an
Avent nipple in my own practice. (yet)
