Hi, Joya,
Lactose intolerance affects adults because we produce less lactase as
we age (our bodies were not made to digest milk past childhood). This
has nothing to do with the composition of the mother's milk. (If she made
enough lactase to digest the lactose in milk, it would all be broken down
into simple sugars by the time she absorbed it. Other sources of sugars
(like fruit) will provide all she needs.)
