Well, according to the quote, the milk does get into it if baby is lying
down.  My babies nursed lying down a lot (while I slept)--ear infections
didn't become a problem until after weaning.

While bacteria have field days wherever they can find them, <g> I don't see
what that has to do with the simple fact of milk being there.  Were you
saying that the breastmilk will be the conduit for the bacteria to find their
way in there?  What's the basis for the supposition?
