No, Susanna, you are not the only one here to have a breastfed child end up
needing braces on their teeth. My two teenagers both wore braces- nursed 5
years+ and three years+. My almost 12 year old son is growing an impressive
set of fangs (eye teeth), his bottm teeth look like a train wreck- he will
need braces too. He weaned on his fifth birthday. I fear my other two will
need orthodintic assistance as well. Perahps I should have married a man
with a big mouth and a wide jaw with enough room for all the teeth one ends
up with. My husband and I (both breastfed) both have very small mouths and
so our kids come by it naturally. Jusy think of what a mess they would be
