Not being a lawyer (but being married to one :-) my thoughts on
recommending herbal remedies without feeling qualified would be this: if
you have heard that something works, or have had personal experience and
are want to recommend it, give the client some literature. That way,
the client gets information and makes her own decision, and you aren't
"practicing medicine".
I'd be happy to post some resources for herbal and homeopathic
information, but want to make sure it's not advertising or whatever. So
maybe people could e-mail me directly if you're interested, or someone
could tell me that this IS ok to post to the list, and I'll do that.
