Hi all,

I am really interested in reading your responses to Pamela from Zimbabwe on
the induced lactation mother she is working with. So can you post them on
lactnet to all?

Since my post on the woman who is traveling to Russia, I have had a mix of
answers, some posted to me privately. I find that I do not know all of the
treatments out there that are being used to help women to induce lactation.
It looks like an area in which we need more research and some protocals if
possible.

By the way, against me advice this mom is really committed to pumping and
going with a pump to Russia so I guess I have to support her all of the way.
She had already made up her mind and really was not going to change it.

I don't think that it will adversely affect her relationship with the baby.
She breastfed her son who is now 6 y/o and he was essentially a breast
refusal baby and she gave it up at one month. So she feels she has
experienced it not workign before. She does not know what she is in for but
those of you who have adolescents, If you knew what getting through the teen
years was like, would you have had babies so blithely. sp?

Thanks for sharing your posts with all on lactnet.
