Charlotte,
I was KIDDING about boycotting Dr. Palmer's talk!!! But if you
listen to Rush, you must know that he is extremely -- to the max --
demeaning of women and children (not to mention minorities of any color),
and would never in a million years support breastfeeding. He has made a
number of rude, crude, and inaccurate comments about breastfeeding over the
years, several times referring to wishing "these women who are so crazy
about breastfeeding in public would come offer him some". I'm paraphrasing,
but I've heard that sentiment twice from him, and I hardly ever listen to
him because I get so upset at his hate mongering and blatant lies about
every subject under the sun.

No matter how attractive his ties are, I wouldn't use one, just as I
wouldn't hand out a breastfeeding pamphlet produced by an infant formula
company even if all the information were 100% accurate.

As for Jonathan's remark about how Rush loves competent women, he must not
listen very often.....Rush's favorite comment about the women's movement and
their attempts to secure equal opportunity for women in education and the
workplace in the U.S. is along the lines of: "The whole point of the women's
movement is so ugly women could get jobs." Sure doesn't sound to me like
someone who judges people based on their competence. No more political
comments from me, folks........
