This may be obvious, but could the surgery be postponed a while? How close
does child seem to be to weaning? Also does he nurse just once a day or very
often? If the injection is given 1x per month, it sounds like the effects
last a while. Could mom seek second opinion if surg is needed right away,
could it be done without this drug?
