Hi, Presently I am councelling a mother that is a G3 P3, she has previously
BF her other children. This baby has a rare conditon, but has no name(that
the parents have been given). The baby has numorous cysts in its tongue and
could be decribed as a macroglossia. She has been expressing for 5 months,
the baby has been on the breast occasionally but did required the use of a
soft nipple shield. The tongue can swell, making feeding by any method
difficuilt. After much concern this baby is going to operated on. I wonder
if any one has had any previous experince here, mother and me would
apprieciate it.  Jodie
