In regard to Marie Schulte's post asking about calcium loss while
breastfeeding:
I have read a study that reported while women did lose calcium during
breastfeeding, they had a rebound of a 50% GAIN at the 6 month mark. If i
remember correctly, the study did not find a significant increase in
mothers who had bottle fed 6 months post-partum.
Unfortunately, I don't remember who published this. I will hunt around,
but does any one else know of this research?
