The standard deviation for IQ is approx. 16. IQ's of 80-120 are classified as
"avarage", 120-140 is "superior, and 140-160 "very superior". "Genius" is not
a standard classification, but is usually considered to be over 160. The tests
aren't very good up there, and it's difficult to classify, since it's 4
sigmas off
the nominal mean (I say "nominal" mean with caution, since the mean varies).
The requirement for Mensa is an IQ in the top 2% of population; which is
about 132.
