Hi
I am new to this list, and I'm sure that this has been covered in the past,
but . . . I have noticed that there are two different types of ants on my
beehive since I added the first honey super. I sprinkled Diazanon around
the hive in the past which controlled them, but now they seem to be at home
inside the hive. Upon closer inspection, there is not a colony set up
inside the hive, but I want to control the possibility of them making
themselves at home. I have just been squashing them as I see them every
day, and they don't seem to be increasing in number. Any ideas?
