Joya - nasty one, yes! When I realize that the mother is not listening
and/or not appreciating that there is a problem and/or ignoring my
recommendations I write her a letter setting out my observations, the
implications, and repeating my recommendations to resolve the difficulty,
including seeking medical advice, so that she can be in no doubt. If it's
urgent I hand-deliver the letter. I usually write or phone the doctor as
well. And, like you, I document *everything*. I find these type of
situations totally nerve-racking! Best wishes.
